The vestibule walls have received their final coat of Behr Cracked Wheat paint. The trim work now needs a bit of touch up, (Yes. I am a slob). Touching up paint with me involved usually means I'll be switching back and forth between colors as I continually make small errors.
The windows need a little razor work, but I will be honest here, they were like that before we painted.
The ceiling also needs touch up, we are going to use the Serene (Bliss) Blue...Ghosts prevention @@

Front door and upstairs
Natalie gave the door two coats of paint, and it still needs more, she also finished the first coat on the walls before having to leave, it was 4pm and she had to be at a meeting with her daughter at 3:30.
The wall scrubbing is now half done, with the worst part of the room done.

| Still ugly but it's getting better, I did have an epiphany, when we do the next room, the crappy linoleum stays down until after we scrub and paint. |

Still working upstairs...
I am still in the process of working on the game room, and the vestibule is still waiting for paint, for that matter there is still a ton of things in every room we have painted that still needs doing, Some of the things are simple like putting shelves up or cleaning up some trim work, others, like the dining room window are more involved. In between are things like cleaning and painting the interior of the kitchen cabinets. The list gore on and on, with every major item that is completed there are numerous small things that need to be addressed. Then occasionally there are things that aren't really on a to-do list, they are just items that get done because I have the money at that instant or I decide to take care of an extra.
The other day I went to Home Depot to pick up cleaning supplies for the upstairs and while I was there I also picked up a couple Westinghouse ceiling light mount bars and a couple glass ceiling light domes. I installed one dome over the kitchen sink,

Kitchen light replacment
The light I had there was a glass dome style with useless bulbs, they come on bright, then go dim and slowly work their way back.
I decided to go with another ceiling fan

Gaps and grooves
Have begun scrubbing the walls upstairs (although these photos were taken before hand), started noticing all the gaps between the walls and ceiling...
and walls and floor...
then it dawned on me that while the gap at the floor is due to settling and there is a base moulding in place, that the ceiling gaps (while also due to settling) had no mouldings.
Last night I stopped at Home Depot and picked up mouldings
