Work starts

Then one day, this girl comes over, She picks up a rag and some cleaner... Just to see how much work it will be before painting can begin...She starts scrubbing the kitchen walls...

At this point, with an entire wall and refrigerator done, I decided the most important room to get done was the bedroom. It made sense to get a livable living area finished. I needed one room where all the items from every other room were not stored in, sort of an oasis amoungst the clutter.

So a couple days later she was back ready to scrub, notice the conditions of the wall paint...

The rails on the walls are shelf supports, they are "nailed" to the wall with 12d nails, the only way to remove them was to destroy the sheet rock, so they stayed.

 Occasionally you had to feed her.

The weird thing is...

She kept coming back.
